After studying drawing, printmaking and art history, watercolor became my primary medium with the birth of my first child. I am self taught in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and the use of these programs has created a whole new dimension for my work and brought me full circle back to my love of line.

The creation of my illustrations are inspired by nature, family and a love for all things timeworn. Harlem Hill is named in honor of my grandmothers who resided at Harlem Road and Cresthill Avenue in Buffalo and are my original muses.

Carey London lives in upstate New York with her family and squeezes art making time in between preschool pick ups and baseball practices.
